A girl named Hollis Woods had to live with foster parents. Hollis Woods continued to go to different foster homes. She went to different foster homes because she ran away. When Hollis was sent to Josie the artist, she wants to stay. She ran away from the the system so she won`t get seperated from Josie. She was going to take Josie with her so they won`t get seperated.
Hollis loved Josie and she wanted to live with her for ever. Hollis dreams of the past summer with the only one that she actually wanted to live with, Josie. Josie is the kind of person for Hollis because Josie is like Hollis's admirer. Josie makes Hollis happy because Josie knows what kind of girl that Hollis is and she also respects the fact that Hollis is a foster child. Josie is different. She's an amazing artist. Hollis doesn't like Josie because of her art but because there's a connection between her and Josie. Hollis likes Josie because Josie is the type of person that can have a good connection with children.
Josie makes Hollis happy and that's the good thing about the relationship. All of the other foster people that she was assigned to didn't have a connection with Hollis. That is probably the reason that Hollis ran away all of those times.
